There are several different Randall books out there, and while most of them are very good we've long felt that none of them did an adequate job in educating collectors about Randall dating, variations, and rarities. It seems that he's always digging up new information on another item I didn't even know existed. Here's another example... and look out for the one with the red thread in the sheath!!

... "AN ISRAELI COMBAT KNIFE" by BOB CAMPBELL And that's exactly what it is. Rather, they are: Dustar is a company making high grade combat knives in Israel, for Israelis, and they now have two models though the original Arad is emphasized in Campbell's review.

... "WHITTLING" by ABE ELIAS A good introduction to whittling as folk art, with notes on knife selection, general whittling tips, and a basic project in the form of whittling a wooden spoon.
